Broadsided: A Conversation about Taking Writing & Art into the Streets

Please join the Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance and the Portland Museum of Art for a reading and conversation about what it means for art and writing to inspire each other and to move from walls and pages to streets, trees, lightposts, and anywhere else in the world. Founded in 2005, Broadsided Press seeks to put literature and art on the streets and recently released an anthology that highlights fifteen years of their poetic and artistic collaborations.

Joining poet, naturalist and Broadsided founder and editor-in-chief Elizabeth Bradfield, will be writers and artists and Broadsided contributors and collaborators including Jennifer Barber, John Bonanni, Jennifer Jean, Gibson Fay-LeBlanc, Jennifer Martelli, and Janice Redman. Copies of the anthology will be available for sale.

Free, registration required.
