Evenings for Educators

Facilitated discussions about works of art can teach students important observation and critical thinking skills; these skills are then transferable. In this workshop, we will explore open-ended teaching techniques that can be incorporated into any classroom—art, history, science, language arts, and even math.  Using the PMA’s collection and the 2015 Biennial You Can’t Get There From Here, teachers will learn specific strategies to use art in their classroom to enhance the learning experience for their students.
